Ryan Collins is a sound designer living and working in Los Angeles, CA. His specialties and expertise lend themselves primarily to sound editorial for feature films. Ryan also has extensive experience editing sound for short films, television, and radio.
Ryan has a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Recording Technology and over 5 years of experience in the post production industry. He has worked at Danetracks, Warner Brothers Studios, The Audio Post/Maja Media, and for many independent film companies. Ryan’s knowledge and experiences include sound effects editing, design, and sweetening; Foley cuing, walking, recording, and editing; ADR and dialogue editorial; recording via ISDN; 5.1 surround sound mixing; and MIDI composition and music production.
The experiences Ryan has been provided with have afforded him the opportunity to study audio in a variety of mediums, particularly in the field of post production.
